Tony Robbins - Having a Massive Action Plan (Video)
Tony Robbins asks: "What are the things that are Musts vs Shoulds?"
| Tony Robbins says: "Anyone can live an extraordinary life."
- Robbins: "To live an extra-ordinary life, you have to have extra-ordinary psychology."
- Robbins: "To have extra-ordinary psychology, you have to condition your mind."

Why doesn't everyone do this then, if we call can?
The Power of Clarity of Purpose
It's because of the standards we choose for ourselves.

Tony Robbins - Changing Your Standards will Change Your Life
Tony Robbins tells a story of being 24, just finishing a seminar of 125 people in Boston (this was a big seminar for him at the time).
It was a 3-day seminar, and Tony felt so fulfilled afterward.Being 24, having found his mission in life.
Still on a high from the successful seminar, he decided to go for a midnight walk.
He ran into a drunk homeless guy begging for money. Tony just knew the guy was going to ask him for money. And indeed, ask, he did. (What you focus on, becomes your reality.)
The guy said: "MISTER! COULD YOU LOAN ME A QUARTER?!"
Tony was concerned the guy was running a scam, or would spend it on alcohol. But decided to go ahead and help him, anyway. However, he wanted to do more than just "give him a quarter."
So he asked the guy: "Is that all you want? One quarter?"
And the guy said: "JUST ONE QUARTER! IT'LL CHANGE MY LIFE?!"
So Tony pulled out his money clip,
(aside: Tony had a money clip with a few hundreds on the outside, but not much in-between. His mentor, Jim Rohn, had instructed him to train his mind to switch from a poor to a wealthy mindset.
Having the hundred dollar bills on the outside of the money clip were a part of that.)
Tony made sure the guy saw the hundred dollar bills. He then reached past those dollar notes, and pulled out a quarter.
Tony gave him the quarter, and said: "Sir. Life will pay any price you ask of it." Tony asked himself as the guy shuffled off: "WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM AND ME?" Life will pay you any price you ask of it. |
| But you have to ask intelligently.
To ask intelligently, you have to ask specifically.
- Not: "I want more money!"
- But: "I want to easily earn a minimum $500,000 in the next 18 months, in a manner that.... xyz."
|
The more clear you are about exactly what you want, the clearer your brain is about how to get it.
Therefore, ask for what you want SPECIFICALLY. WITH CLARITY.
It's how the brain works. The brain goes after what you focus on.
Tony Robbins - What's your RPM Plan?
Every successful person Tony Robbins knows, he says, has an R.P.M. plan.
RPM plan: The way to get where you want to go as fast as possible, is you have to build POWER. Like in a car.
R = Result. They know the result that they're after. PRECISELY. Not get general. CLARITY IS POWER. You must have a specific result in mind, to have any chance of achieving it.
P = Purpose. WHY are you doing it?
Because as soon as you decide, all the obstacles will come up. And unless you have enough emotional drive to break through that, you'll never succeed. Reasons come first. Answers come second.
M = Massive Action Plan. What is going to get you to actually follow through? Because if the 1st and 2nd plans don't work, you'd better have more plans.
So what's your Massive Action Plan?
Listening to this short video, you realize why Tony doesn't call himself a motivational speaker.
This isn't teaching to pump you up, or get you to just try harder.
But it's teaching to get you to use very specific strategies and tactics, to get where you want to go.
So.
