We all want lots quality inbound links, and steadily growing traffic for our web sites.

Building an online business is great, but not of much use if no one can find you. Quality content in a focused niche, and lots of quality inbound links, are the best way to do that.

So the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) industry sprung up several years ago, in response to this need. SEO professionals are experts at reverse-engineering the search engine algorithms, at least to an extent. And recommending the "tips of the month" for how you can short-cut, and loophole your way into high listings.

There were Good SEOers: White hats. They tried to match the algorithms of the month, without abusing the search engines.

And there were Bad SEOers: Black hats. They exploited loopholes, and tried to fool the search engines.

But increased sophistication of the search engine algorithms has made the SEO profession VERY DIFFICULT. It's a fast-moving target.

The good news?

Simply providing focused content, rich content, works. Why are amateurs able to get better results than SEO professionals, over the long-term?

We've talked about the moving target this make up search engine algorithms. SEOers are always chasing that holy grail formula.

But we amateurs, armed only with some common sense on how to create focused, targeted web pages... and how to build quality inbound links... WILL get better results! Over the long-term.

I learned this myself, as an online entrepreneur.

Having run a social networking site for over 9 years, I knew the difficulty of getting a high page rank... and of getting quality inbound links. I admit - I had NO idea what I was doing, when I got started!

I kind of stumbled into solid rankings though - because my web site was tightly focused, and provided valuable content. Over the years, so many sites linked in... and these inbound links were seen as votes of quality by the search engines!

Now there was a lot I DID NOT do. Relating to submissions to 1st tier and 2nd tier directories... relating to focusing each page on a keyword...

When I decided to build a web site focused on generating passive income by making money online, I sought a system to give me maximum results, with minimal effort. I wanted to get it right.

The eBook "Make Your Links Work" came at the perfect time. I realized that for the same effort, I could get exponentially better results... and exponentially more traffic! Over the long term.
